Operating Procedures for RNAV ATS Routes

  1. Applicable Aircraft
    Aircraft which carries RNAV equipment certified to apply criteria of ICAO Doc 9613 (PBN Manual) may plan to operate on RNAV ATS routes.
  2. Flight Plan
    According to the equipment and capability, designators in item 10 and item 18 shall be filled in the flight plan form for aircraft complying with RNAV equipment regulation to operate on RNAV ATS routes.
  3. ATC Instruction
    ATC may instruct applicable aircraft to fly direct to a RNAV waypoint from any position whenever the aircraft has reached an altitude higher than the minimum vectoring altitude.
  4. In-flight Contingency Procedures
    All contingencies cannot be covered, these procedures provide solely as guidance for such aircraft unable to maintain required navigation performance or to stay in the airspace dimensions.
    Flight crew shall notify ATC of contingency (equipment failure, weather deviation), state his/her intentions, and obtain an ATC clearance as soon as possible.
